Story
Sean has been lucky enough to be one of the 4000 UK scouts to be selected to attend the World Scout Jamboree in 2019!
This is an amazing opportunity for all scouts involved, but especially for Sean who is autistic and has sensory proccessing disorder. Sean has managed to independantly put himself through the selection process and it would be a shame if he could not go purely on cost.
To attend he needs a total of £4000, this includes pre camps, uniform and the full jamboree. We are asking for a little help as this is a mammoth amount to raise. Anything raised above and beyond will be given to the scout group to pass to other scouts that may need a little help.

6 years agoFor Sean’s first large event we have decided to do a sponsored run. We are going to run 5km this summer (date to be announced) Sean has weak muscles and pro-preception dysfunction which makes any type of physical activity very hard to do. Choosing a run is a brave choice and one I am sure will give Sean a maximum accomplished feeling on completion. The run will be sponsored on the basis of completion not on the time it takes. We will be training together and posting updates as we go.
