Story
David 'Tinse' Kinsell sadly passed away on 10th June 2017 while he was in Spain. The aim is to bring David / Tinse back to the UK and for his funeral to take place in Tamworth, where it is hoped as many people as possible who knew and loved him will be able to say their goodbyes to this wonderful man.
The cost of repatriation is extremely expensive, as is the cost for arranging a funeral.
Those of you who knew David / Tinse will also know that, whilst he had a huge amount of wealth in terms of the love and affection afforded him by everyone he met; he was not a man of great financial wealth.
We want to try to raise some money to help towards the cost of bringing him home and to enable him to be given a funeral where his life can be celebrated as it rightly deserves.
We are asking everyone who knew & loved David to help us. Any amount will be of great help. You can donate and leave your name or donate anonymously and, if you want, you can leave a message of support for his loved ones. We would also ask that you tell as many other of David's / Tinse's friends as possible about our aim and encourage them to show their support.

The late David (Tinse) Kinsell
7 years agoWe wanted to let everyone know that this page has now been closed to donations. The money raised has been forwarded to Tinse's family to put towards the total cost of bringing Tinse home and laying him to rest. It's been a fantastic effort and Tinse's family want to send their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their support and for helping them through a very difficult time for them. Many thanks.

The late David (Tinse) Kinsell
7 years agoThank you all so much who donated to help us towards the cost of bringing Tinse home and giving him the send off he deserved. The cost of achieving this has been significantly greater than we expected, so we're hoping anyone who hasn't had chance to donate so far will still be able to do so. We've raised almost £5,500 now, including the £500 that was kindly donated on the day itself. We'd love to try to achieve our original target, which won't by any stretch cover everything but it will go a long way to easing the burden on Tinse's family.

The late David (Tinse) Kinsell
7 years agoWe just wanted to let all Tinse's supporters know that his funeral took place last Friday (14th Jul) at St Editha's Church in Tamworth. As expected, there was a large turnout of folks from far and wide who wanted to say their goodbyes. We know there were as many again who, for one reason or another, were unable to make it. As we had hoped, Tinse was sent off in style. He was cheered & applauded out of the Church, which was a really nice touch. We couldn't have got this far without your support, and we're extremely grateful to everyone.
