We have just back from a family holiday in Cyprus and while we were out there we fell in love...

We spotted this little fellow cowering under a broken-down lorry in the carpark at the supermarket near our villa on the first night we were there. When we walked back he was gone.

The following morning I headed off to the shop early to pick up some breakfast things and saw him again under the truck.

As I had my three small children with me I didn't go too close to him but told him I would bring him some food and water out. The kids and I headed back to the villa and someone followed us home!

Obviously I was cautious at first but he is hands down the most affectionate, obidient, gracious dog I have ever met.

He had a collar on but no name so we gave him a haircut and a good scrub (including removing over 40 ticks from the poor pup).

He was just so beautiful and it was heartbreaking to see the state he was in. We knew right away we couldn't just leave him to fend for himself.

We managed to get hold of a lovely english lady who agreed to help us try and bring Keo (or Cuddles as my kids haved named him as he loved cuddles so much!) back to england where he could live with us and finally be safe and given the love he deserves.

Keo went to the vets who confirmed he wasn't microchipped and apart from to obvious scrapes and scratches, he was in good health. He gave him his rabies jab and issued him with a pet passport.

Keo is currently in kennels in Cyprus (he has to wait 21 days to travel after his rabies shot) and we will be organising a flight home for him in three weeks. The cost of this flight is £500.

We have put the vets and kennel fees on a credit card (£562) but I'll be honest, we are just an average family with lots of bills and we will struggle to pay this plus the flight off.

I have set up this page to ask for help in raising the cost of the flight back to england as it is just so much and we just don't have that kind of money.
