Story
So obviously this page was initially set up in order to get Leo over from America. Since Ange and Big D paid for his return flights, as you know, the money is still in this page. Horgan needs £605 for the bench in memory of Joe, which will be fittingly situated in Pedmore Park. Due to this, I have re-set the financial target as £605, as opposed to the original target of £400 (well in everyone). In the same way that we experienced with the initial target of £400, we got 125% over the expected target, which is fantastic. Therefore, Horgan and I have agreed that any money left over, as I imagine there will be, will be given to a cancer charity of choice; e.g. Macmillan, Teenage Cancer Trust etc.
I will send £605 into Horgan's direct account once we have the target, so he can order the bench ASAP. Following that, the page is 'Open' for 99 remaining days, however, I am going to close the page and send the rest of the money to the chosen charity after a day of sending the targeted money to Horgan's account. This is due to the fact that the £605 will ONLY leave this page to go into Horgan's account within 7-10 working days AFTER closing the page. Hence why I want to close this the day after we reach the target, instead of keeping it open to try and get as much money as possible.
Cheers all.
