Last year I was selected to go on an international Girlguides trip to Mexico and I was ecstatic. My family and I began fundraising straight away, we sold all of our old books and did 'pop up restaurants' for family and friends. This got me just over £1,300 out of my overall goal of £2,400.

While I'm away I will be completing charity work for the local community and possibly working in children's homes or young women's hostels (we don't know exactly what charities we will be working for but previous trips suggest it will be this type of work).
