My mum's going to China to look after Orphaned kids. It's been a dream all her life to do some overseas relief work and she now has the opportunity.

She's worked hard in the NHS as a Sister in HDU and ITU for most of my life! She has looked after so many people's lives when they are critical, maybe even yours or a loved one sometime. I myself have had my life saved by her fabulous friend's and caring colleagues in ITU at the William Harvey Hospital. She now is a teaching assistant in a very challenging special needs school, continuing to care for others. She spends her spare time continuing to help by working with and supporting our local homeless via the Rainbow centre. She's doing boot fairs and organising a music evening but this page might reach a few more people who know Karen and would like to contribute £2.
