At my school , we have 150 children in Year 6. We would love to offer them a trip to the theatre and share an experience that will last them a life time. Unfortunately, for the majority of the pupils this is a luxury that will be far too expensive and something they may never experience. In order to reduce the cost and make it accessible for all children, I am embarking on a 'Dry Decemeber.' I know most people wait until January to do such a challenge and help them detox from the overindulgence of Christmas. However, I thought the real challenge would be to do this in December, when the festive season has peaked and the champagne is flowing. So that is my plan, all of December, alcohol free. No cocktails, no liquor chocolates, not even a brandy-soaked, Christmas pudding. Any donations would be so gratefully received, no matter how small. 100% of the money will go towards the cost of the tickets for the children. Please help me get Year 6 to the theatre - they really deserve it. Thank you for your support.
