Apollo is our 2nd child and our first son… he was born on October 10th, 2009 and tragically lost his life due to a drowning incident on May 30th, 2017.

Apollo was an amazing boy, he made us cry with laughter and made us so very proud of his achievements. A little artist in the bud, extremely interested in getting fit and healthy, very caring, a little stubborn and forever trying to make his friends laugh.

It was so easy for us to see the bright future that lay ahead of him…

… then on May 26th, 2017 all those dreams and hopes you hold as a parent came crashing down. We were informed that Apollo had been in a swimming pool incident, had been reanimated and was transported to hospital, where he unfortunately passed away a few days later.

There is no ‘sense’ in a tragedy like this, only heartache and disbelief… however it did propel us to do ‘something’… Something to ensure that no other parent, brother or sister would ever have to go through the same devastating loss and pain.

Hence we are setting up a charity, the aim of which is to :

1. Promote swimming pool and beach safety.
2. Setup a rating system for pool and beach safety.
3. Promote and fund swimming safety products and technologies.
