Arif is one of the kindest people I have known. He has always put others before him, be it his parents, siblings, friends or anyone else he cares about. His motto in life is to bring about small changes with lasting impact. One day he wants to have a family of his own am I sure he will be a great father. However, that dream has to wait as his wife, Mehwish, has been diagnosed with a very aggressive liver tumour that requires immediate medical attention and surgery.

The only option at this stage is liver transplant but unfortunately there are very limited resources in Pakistan for such a treatment. We have found hope in India, where the success rates of a lever transplant are much better. However, the cost is significant and surgery alone is 50,000 USD.

Mehwish will also be needing months of medication and care which will require further support at a later stage but it is important to start the treatment immediately and they are counting on generous support through this crowd funding to help pay for the medical bills. The total cost of surgery, pre and post op care, hospital fees and travel expenses is expected to exceed 60,000 USD.

Arif is the only bread earner, who work as an Assistant Manager at Toyota motors and has very limited resources. His salary is spent on monthly expenditures and medicine for his wife, leaving very little in savings.

Please help me save Mehwish’s life, a loving wife who has lent her support whenever her husband needed it, a caring daughter who has always been there for her parents and a nurturing sister who has always looked after her siblings.
