Bentilee Volunteers has been an active project helping the people of Bentilee Stoke on Trent for over 30 years we offer several services that help our community.
Lunch Clubs for our elderly, Youthlink for our children and Rainbows for adults with learning disabilities, all supporting our most isolated and vulnerable residents.
All services are delivered and run by local resident volunteers with support from a small team of staff.
Three mornings a week we help local people and members from our other clubs/projects to not just look for work but to solve any problems.

We do this by helping build personal skills, give free access to an internet connected computer with training of how to use it.
Also we have specialist information and advice sessions with our local C.A.B, J.E.T Training, and other agencies.

We wish to continue running our I.T.Suite Project which helps local people in need by developing personal employable skills and access to specialist advice and information.

We are hoping to generate a future income by hiring out the facility when not in use, this will cover the cost of the part time wage for our one staff member who supplies technical assistance.

However this will take time therefore we need funds to pay our I.T. Support worker / technical assistant for just the time being.
