We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. On a personal level I have lost uncles and an aunt to cancer recently and my close friend's mum has also fought breast cancer in the last few years. I want to raise money to help in the fight against this terrible disease and I have chosen Daft as a Brush specifically as it is a North East charity which provides a unique and essential transport service to patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy in regional hospitals. This charity does not have as big a profile as some of the other cancer charities and I hope to raise awareness of their work in and around the region.
