Story
Cancer care is an area of medicine almost everyone can relate to. It is, of course, very important to continue to raise money to help combat this disease and I couldn't use any better words than those of Marie Gretton, Communications and Fundraising Officer at Derby Hospitals Charity, to encourage your generosity...
We are always enormously proud of our fundraisers and think that the Zumbathon will be an amazing event for the community. We are so thankful to everyone who fundraisers for Derby Hospitals Charity. It makes a huge difference within the hospital and for its patients. Donations to the charity help to provide the "extras" that can't be provided from NHS statutory funding, but make a real difference to our patients and staff.
My own friend, Sarah Wright, lost her fight this year at the age of 47, one very good reason that this Zumbathon fundraiser is close to my own heart.
