I have been set a challenge to visit 60 abbeys during my 60th year. If you would like to support me by making a donation it would be greatly appreciated. All funds will go to Furness Abbey Fellowship-a small charity by constitution which supports education, awareness and community events to raise the profile of this extremely important 12th century abbey. Furness Abbey is a personal passion and I want to see it raised to the appropriate level of historical importance which it deserves and warrants.
