    Story

The picture shows myself and a good friend of mine when we were both pregnant 12 years ago. Our wonderful friends had arranged a baby shower.

Within a few months I had Alice and Helen had Jude. They are now wonderful 11 year olds.
Recently Jude has been diagnosed with a sarcoma in his arm which he will need treatment and surgery for.

Alice is donating 10 inches of her hair to the little princess trust at the end of May. She also wants to raise money for Jude to help him to get through his treatment. Whether it is for a tablet, Xbox or laptop or just the extra money to buy magazines etc.
Gill Stirrup, Jo Hunt and myself will be running a 10k in July!! I know, us running!!

Jude's parents are both hardworking people with 4 boys - they have had to take time off work to be with Jude, as well as the other boys. I know that there primary concern is the health of their children but the additional costs of hospital visits whilst they are off work is something that will start to add up, and lets face it - they have enough to worry about.

Helen, Gill, Jo and myself have been friends for a long time, meeting in 2003 as work colleagues. We all feel pretty useless at the moment and just want to help the family as much as we can. This diagnosis has been a complete shock to them and was very sudden in the presentation and diagnosis. Helen and Paul are handling this with such courage and bravery for their boys, as well as everyone who loves them.

This will be the beginning of our fundraising as we are currently thinking of other ways to raise money which we will update on this page.

Thank you for reading this and hopefully for your support.

I am overweight and unfit but along with Gill Stirrup and Jo Hunt, will be running a 10k in July to raise money!! In training from Monday, I'm sure it is easier than what Jude is going through.
