Two different charities, two weird but wonderful friends, three weeks reserved and a goal. Best friends and photographers, Clement Hodgkinson and Toby Roney are raising money for two very different charities but both are close to one another's hearts.

Clement Hodgkinson is trying to support the work of Protect Our Winters (POW) who engage on the issues surrounding snow levels, water and climate change. Founded by professional skiers who noticed the effects of climate change on the winter seasons they decided to start to make a change.

Toby is raising for The MindEd Trust, a charity which is focused on the prevention of mental illness in young people and early intervention strategies for those experiencing trauma. With mental health issues affecting Toby himself and his loved ones he is keen to raise money to help younger generations.

What are we doing?
In early August this year we are doing the classic Land's End to John O'Groats cycle BUT with a twist. We are starting with nothing but our boxer shorts- no bikes, no money, no clothes and no tent. We are relying on the British public's kindness to get us everything from accommodation to clothes and even bikes to help us get there. All inspiration is from 'Free Country' - a truly astounding book!

Clement - For anyone who loves watching snowflakes fall, enjoys the backcountry or just is passionate about the environment this is a organisation you can trust to help share your views!

Toby - Having experienced mental health issues before, both myself and loved ones I feel like I need to help others who are suffering as much as I can. I think that the work that MindEd trust supplies to schools in Cambridgeshire is a brilliant cause that needs much more support.

All money raised will be split 50/50 between the two charities. No funds will be used to support the trip.
