Story
We are a group of 15-17 year olds, currently completing NCS (National Citizen Service). We have decided to focus on youth homeless for our Social Action Project, because we all feel very passionate about this topic.
What would you do if you suddenly became homeless? Personally our team didn't know until we started working with Moving On Durham.
In our project, we will be completing fundraising events in order to raise money for care packages for the homeless, including necessities like food and toiletries, which will be given to those in need in shelters and on the streets. Not only do we plan to raise money for our care packages, but our main aim is to raise awareness of youth homelessness. This project wouldn't be able to take place without the help of Moving On Durham.
