For a school project I have been doing some things for charity and I decided to make a crowdfunding page for people to give to my chosen charity. I chose the Mind charity because mental health is very important to me as both my parents are psychologists, which is why 100% of all money raised will go to a mental health charity. I am donating the money to Mind because there is a lot of strain on the NHS mental health services. I saw a report by the Kingsfund which says that the government spend 11 per cent of the NHS budget on mental health, but that mental health problems make up 23 per cent of the problems which the NHS has to deal with. I feel that charities like Mind are important because they can help to give the people the information and support that they need.
