Story
You may or may not know that a dear friend of ours Glen Fyrth has had the misfortune of being diagnosed and treated for DSRCT (desmoplastic small round cell tumour), an extremely rare and aggressive cancer with little treatment protocols and existing case studies. Glen has faced his treatment with bravery, pragmatism and determination.
At this point in his journey, his consultants have said that there is no further treatment available and his condition is now terminal.
Glen is a husband, father and great friend to many. As a close group of his friends we are looking to help in whatever way we can to make the upcoming few weeks as manageable as possible for those close to him.
We don’t believe that his wonderful, loving and hardworking family should be burdened with the further worries of financial strain to cover inevitable expenses in the short or medium term and are sure that with your help, we can make a real difference to his wife Sarah and children Lily and Oliver at this deeply difficult time.
He’s always been there with us and for us, making our lives happier through his warmth, intelligence & humour (not to mention mickey taking).
If you feel that you could help by offering a donation, it would be gratefully received by the family. We just ask that you kindly respect the family's wishes for privacy during this difficult time.
Many Thanks,
Gaz, Northy, Ginge, Sam, Rossie & Cookie
PS - as a small thank you for your support, for every £10 donated, you will be entered into a prize draw with the opportunity of winning a wide range of very attractive prizes - watch this space for further details. If you are able to support with providing any additional prizes that would also be appreciated.
