It's time for my yearly "glitter beard" and the chosen charity for this year is the Charlie's Chance Foundation; which is a Liverpool based charity. Set up by Robert and Sophie Fearnes after their son Charlie was diagnosed with leukaemia for a third time in 2016.

This charity solely relies on public donations and fundraising events. The money raised is used to help children suffering with cancer have access to treatments abroad that otherwise would be unavailable to them on the NHS. The money raised also helps with assisting their families in dealing with the stress and strain of caring for a child with cancer whether that be mental, physical or financially.
