Thank you everyone again for your donations and good wishes, through everyone's support via Justgiving, plus donations at the event and support from the Parish Council and Glynde Estates we have reached our target and covered all costs for the tree, lights and our lovely afternoon together. Thank you everyone for your support and enthusiasm, our lovely Christmas tree is now sparkling and shining away on the Rec, looking so lovely and full of fantastic decorations made by the friendly folk of Glynde and friends. Thank you to everyone who came on Sunday night for such a nice evening together and to see the lights go on. I hope you all get a chance to look around the tree and it brings a smile to many who live, work or pass through Glynde. Thank you! x

Thank you to everyone who has donated and offered help. A 20ft Christmas tree has been ordered and Glynde Estates are going to put it up on the Rec. We have also worked out how many lights are needed, and they will be ordered next week. From the funds raised so far, we have enough for tree and most of the way towards the lights. So we are now fund raising for decorations (and decoration making materials) as well as towards the lighting up get together. (continued below)
