    Story

Newcastle toddler Kian Musgrove nearly died four times in American hospital.
Sick four-year-old Newcastle toddler left unresponsive after pain relief treatment in specialist New York hospital.
Sick Newcastle toddler Kian Musgrove nearly died four times in an American hospital as he underwent cancer treatment.

High doses of pain killing medication left the four year old unresponsive, sparking panic from his frantic mum, Kat.

Kat, 28, said: “It was the scariest day of my life. I nearly lost him four times.

“He was sweaty, floppy and blue. The nurses and doctors had to shake him and shout so loud at him. He just wouldn’t respond but luckily, he did eventually.
Kian, of Newbiggin Hall in Newcastle, is in the city to undergo pioneering £600,000 relapse treatment in a bid to stop the childhood cancer which almost killed him twice ever returning.

The first round of treatment is due to come to a close and the family are due back in Newcastle this week before flying back out to New York again next week.

In between hospital trips to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in the city, Kian has been winning the hearts of people living in the city.

The Newbiggin Hall toddler and his mum Kat are becoming familiar faces in New York City’s Times Square where visitors have donated hundreds of dollars.

Their frequent trips to the tourist area, in the heart of the Big Apple, has seen them make friends with buskers and street vendors who have taken them to their heart.
Chemotherapy followed, including stem cell removal, high dose chemotherapy, radiotherapy and subsequent immunotherapy treatment. It took eight months, but eventually Kian’s cancer was no longer detectable to the delight of his family.

But in December last year, Kat received the news she had been dreading - the cancer had returned and Kian would need to fight for his life all over again.
NOW IM DOING A SKYDIVE TO RAISE QUICK FUNDS SOON AS HIT TARGET DIVE DONE SO QUICK AS POSS REALLY
