In May 2017, 7 year old Amber was diagnosed with cancer.

Amber has a rhabdomyosarcoma of the petrosal bone (basically in her head), which has damaged her facial nerve causing paralysis of the right side of her face. The tumour has also damaged the hearing in her right ear.

Despite the damage her tumour has caused, Amber is full of positivity, she is simply amazing.

Due to its location her tumour is inoperable therefore she is currently undergoing chemotherapy to shrink the tumour and will then undergo radiotherapy.

Amber is receiving fantastic care and we are grateful beyond words for our amazing NHS.

Amber has a long road ahead of her, once she has beaten the cancer, the next challenge will be to get movement in the right side of her face, so her smile can beam full force once again.

Amber to raise awareness of child cancer designed her own `my little pony` called Golden sparkle. Amber asked hasbro if they could make golden sparkle pony for child cancer awareness but unfortunately they said they couldn't.

We are now trying to raise enough money to get Golden sparkle made professionally for Amber.
