We are trying to raise money for a very badly injured street cat that we found in the basement of our building in South Korea.
South Korea is known to have a large population of street cats, and we found this street cat very badly malnourished in the basement parking area of our Seoul apartment. The cat was severely malnourished and lay in the parking area where we would try our best to feed it much against management's wishes. On one particular day, the cat seemed to have several bad injuries, one of which was later determined as a burn from some form of acid or boiling water.
Due to these injuries, we decided that the cat would not survive without being treated, so we managed to get the cat into a carrier and take it to the local vet where we take our dog, they give discounts to street cats in order to try and make it easier for people to do good deeds like this and help cats with no other options.
After leaving the cat with the vets, it was determined the cat would have died within several days had we not have brought it to them, and it was discovered that the cat had various injuries, and it's skin was coming away from it's body. The cat is currently being fed and kept in a full body bandage that needs to be changed every 2 hours due to the lack of skin on the cat's body.

We are looking to raise money to help pay for the cat's vet bills, which will be too expensive for us to fund ourselves, and also the homing of the cat after it's hopeful recovery, be it in a home, or in a suitable shelter in Seoul where the cat can live a good life without fear of dying on the streets or being put down.
In the case that any excess money is gathered, this money will be put towards funding a good animal charity here in Seoul or donated to a worthy animal shelter where the animals are not put to sleep like many in the country unfortunately are.
Thank you so much for reading and hopefully helping, we are doing our best to make sure that this cat recovers and can live a full life.

Unfortunately I come with the bad news that the poor street cat didn't make it. It fought hard but it's injuries were too much and the cat's heart stopped at around 1am tonight. This news absolutely breaks me and I can only thank those that donated and shared and read this story. Life is unfair and it's so sad that a young cat with so much will to survive can be taken away in it's prime, but we'll try to take away the good memories that this cute little kitty brought us.
