Story
Well...it's time...to say goodbye to Lorna's Long Locks!
I've thought about this for long enough and now I'm having my hair cut for a wonderful cause.
In memory of my firend's little girl Sophie, who sadly fell asleep forever earlier this year, after fighting so bravely against cancer. I am donating my hair to make a wig for a child who is suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment.
The money raised will go towards making the wig which can cost between £350-£500. Any additional funds raised will go towards research into childhood cancers.
The minimum hair length requirement is 7inches of hair but I'm planning to cut at least 12inches in order to make a longer wig. I would be very grateful for any donations as it will be a big step for me but it will make a huge difference to a little girl!
