Story

If you haven't heard of Nexus NI; they provide information, support & therapeutic counselling to survivors of sexual abuse, sexual assault, rape and associated trauma. This is available for both females and males from the age of 16+ (although they do have a specialist service for younger people aged 11-16).

Sadly sexual violence is something that a lot of us, or people we love, will have experienced to various degrees. Nexus NI have been working for over 30 years to help survivors of sexual violence and rely heavily on donations to keep this fantastic service going.

All proceeds raised from our first event on Saturday 19th August will be given to this worthy cause. We will be holding a market during the day with stalls showcasing talented women in Belfast and then hosting a BYOB film club that night. For every £2 donated you will receive one entry into a raffle - if you donate £10 you'll get 5 entries etc. I'll post up a photo as soon as the last item arrives but I promise there are some great prizes, including clothing, original graffiti canvas, Benefit vouchers, restaurant vouchers and more!
