I am a sixth form student at Rainford High Technology College and in July I am volunteering to go to Ghana to help the local children get a better education and raise their standards of living. This is an annual trip at my college and so far previous students have built a school, along with wells and vegetable patches for the locals. When I am there, I will be helping to build a STEM centre (science, technology, engineering and maths), where over 300 schools will have access to it in order to further the children's education.
