50 50 50 50 (50 men 50 miles, 50 years 50,000 pounds) , Family, Friends and Colleagues, I call on you all to help me raise £1000 of a £50,00 target.

in June 2018 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Light Infantry myself and 49 veterans will march 50 miles from Hereford to Shrewsbury to raise £50,000 in support of The Light Infantry Association.

This is our way of saying thank you to a fantastic organisation for the help and support it provides to hundreds of veterans and their families each year.

This organisation also organises the regimental reunions in Shrewsbury each year and in 2018 we will end this march at the start of the reunion weekend, where we will all enjoy a well deserved beer!
