We are a small music and dance festival that has run for over 20 years in Christchurch. The festival is staged by volunteers with most acts playing for free. We charge a small entrance fee of £7 to help cover costs such as staging, marquee, licences etc. Children are admitted free with parents. Any profit we make is donated to the Christchurch Mayor's charities of that year. We have donated over £25,000 in the past. We keep the entrance fee low to enable families especially to attend, we pride ourselves on being a family based event.
In order to attract good quality and popular acts this year we shall endeavor to pay some minimal expenses to acts for travel and equipment hire, which in the past has been paid from their own pockets. This will help us to bring in a good audience, help the festival to thrive and continue our charitable donations, Thank you.
