    Story

Thank you for taking the time to read my page!
I was born with Congenital Talipes (club foot) and all the way through my life I've tried to live my life to the fullest and not allowed my disability to rule my life! In fact I've always tried to go beyond my disability and yes this hasn't always been easy and I've failed sometimes but I got back up and learnt and tried again and again and so on! The 6th February 2017 I had a lower limb amputation on my right leg to try to help stop the chronic pain I was in before. The pain has gone along with the leg but now its time to get back up and continue living my life and showing my children no matter what life gives you and puts you down! You get back up and face the challenge head and meet it face to face and smile. Yes it might be hard and seem impossible but nothing in life can not be conquered and with enough hard work, support, self belief, stubbornness and hunger for the end journey you will get there!!
How I'm choosing to get back up is firstly owning the start of this new journey by wanting to par-take in para triathlon and raise money for local and national charities in the hope I can help those that aren't able to help themselves through no fault of their own or need support to get through life. In order to carry on with this I myself need support from you! Be that sharing my story or helping in another way you are able to help! Being an amputee having a lighter bike and the equipment in order to compete and become part of the family that take part in para triathlon in this country and begin my journey. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my very brief look at my life and with your support I will keep walking forward facing the bumps that's surly to come up but I will get over them. I will keep you informed with my progress and who knows i might have a bit of talent in my little toes to make something of this (well at least in the ones i got left any how)

    thank you
    G.

      What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

      Great people make things happen

Do you know anyone in need or maybe want to help a local community cause?

Create you own page and donʼt let that cause go unfunded!
