Weʼve raised £1,100 to to help work colleague (Steve McGregor) pay for rehabilitation and physiotherapy following a serious work accident

    London, United Kingdom
Funded on Sunday, 24th June 2018

    Story

On June 13th 2017, Steve was involved in a serious life changing accident at work.

A Steel fell from a hoist above him, fracturing his skull, leaving him with severe brain damage. Had it not been for the quick thinking of his colleagues, he most likely would not have survived this horrific accident.

Up until now his recovery has been remarkable, but he's still unable to move both arms or legs.

As he will be discharged from Hospital early this year, I'd love your support you could give to help fund Steve's future recovery (especially the physiotherapy he will need to hopefully get him moving again).

With his 30th birthday around the corner (February 2018) Steve still has his whole life in front of him, and hopefully with your support he can continue to recover.

We have worked with Steve in many a capacity over the years and have found him to be a fantastic guy with so much to offer. This being said I along with 20 colleagues are going to complete the London to Amsterdam Bike Ride on the 14th-18th June 2018, looking to raise 20k. Over the 4 days I will cycle over 300 miles in excess of 6 hours each day.

I would be tremendously grateful if you could help me to raise money to support Steve and his family during these tough times and hopefully see Steve to a full recovery.

I will use this page to update you with our training progress and of course the ride itself in June.

    Many Thanks,

    Graham
