My name is Greg Taylor. I have volunteered to travel to India with my school which has been in partnership with APD-India since 2003.

The Association of People with Disability (APD) is a non-profit organization based out of Bangalore. Founded in 1959, they have worked extensively over the last 58 years to reach out and rehabilitate People with Disability from the under privileged segment.

Their aim is to create an inclusive society, where people with disabilities are accepted into the mainstream economy and social life. A culture and eco system where they can earn, live and sustain with dignity and respect.

I will travel with five classmates and two teachers from my school along with students from other Scottish schools in June this year, we are raising money to fund our trip and to make a substantial donation to the charity. While there, we will work with young homeless people and children with disabilities.
