Getting Rid Of Irritable Emotional Feelings.

I'm tired... in fact that's an understatement. I'm exhausted hearing about the countless deaths of the young men and women in our community. Admittedly some of these deaths are as a result of wrong choices however a DEATH is a DEATH.

G.R.I.E.F (Getting Rid Of Irritable Emotional Feelings) is an exciting new programme developed by award winning writer, director and film producer Fredi Nwaka.

Once a member of a notorious South London Gang and having lost over 45 friends and associates to violent crime, a survivor of child abuse Fredi is no stranger to trauma. So many of our young men and woman are traumatised by the things they have experienced or are seeing on our streets and yet are being overlooked. The pressures of social media, wanting to fit in and yet feeling alone, loosing loved ones to violent crime, the list goes on.

As with everything early intervention is the key and this programme aims to work with not only vulnerable hard to reach young people but also those who just feel alone, on the edge and just need inspiring, motivating to make better choices.

It may sound cringy or even a tad cliche but we are in a state of emergency and our young people need our love and guidance.

The money pledged will go towards facilitating workshops, mentoring , teaching transferable skills, plus much more and will be in association with the BLACKADEMY ENTERPRISE CIC (Non For Profit).
