We are a mixed group of staff working in Gynaecology (women’s health) at Sunderland Royal Hospital....admin staff, healthcare assistants, nurses and doctors, who are raising funds to help improve the service we provide

We care for, support and provide both medical and surgical treatment for women with a variety of conditions.....these include those with abnormal smear results, problems in early pregnancy e.g. ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages, and investigations and treatment for who are suspected of or have been diagnosed with any of the 5 gynaecological cancers; ovarian, endometrial (womb), vaginal, vulval and cervical

Some examples of the equipment we have on our ’wish list’ are a new examination couch for our out-patients department which would improve patient comfort whilst undergoing treatment, improved ventilation in our colposcopy treatment room (this room has no windows), new equipment trolleys...to name but a few....

Any contribution no matter how small is hugely appreciated and will be put to good use. Thank you 😊
