Story
Callum Hilton – is a 15yr old pianist, cellist and composer – and is currently studying with full scholarship at Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester, UK.
In October 2013, Callum was a category winner at the Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw.
Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Debussy and Mendelssohn are amongst his favourite composers.
The coming years promise to be increasingly busy for Callum, as he builds up his concert schedule, composes and studies.
Callum is currently trying to raise funds for a full size Cello after outgrowing his 3/4 sized Cello. He is currently putting on concerts at home and in Liverpool to help raise money towards the Cello that he so desperately needs to continue his bright future that he is so very destined for. Callum works extremely hard and practices for many hours a day and loves to show his talents to wide audiences of different ages and music tastes.
I have set up this fundraising page on behalf of my brother Callum, has many people have said they would love to come to a concert but unfortunately the distances are too far but would also like to contribute.
Callum has a face book page for further information https://www.facebook.com/groups/1488907904531338/
and concert tickets can be found at http://www.phoenixviolins.com/Pages/Concerts.aspx
