We (Amar, Charlie, Nathan, Tom, Alex and Archie) are students at Adams' Grammar School and want to raise money to hold a charity Christmas party for veterans at Help For Heroes and their children, aswell as other elderly people in the community. We are arranging the event on 16th December 2017 and hope to have many veterans in attendance. We will be talking to the veterans about Combined Cadet Forces at Adams' and will have a wide range of themed things for veterans and their families to enjoy. We will also be serving the veterans a hearty meal and snacks swell as hot drinks throughout the event. All guests will also leave with a gift. We will hold competitions on the day too to win hampers and such kindly donated by shops on the Newport High St. A singer who also happens to be a war veteran, Mr Christopher Knight will be performing on the day. Every penny donated will help to raise enough to hold a fantastic event this Christmas!
