Erin’s adventure to Kenya

Hi my name is Erin and I am a 13 year old student at Tiverton High school.

I have been given the amazing opportunity to go to Kenya in 2019 with 46 fellow students. We will be volunteering in local schools, helping teach, play sports and also help renovate. I’m lucky my Nan taught me how to paint!

My first task is to start raising funds so that I can go. This isn’t going to be easy. We all need £2095 each so a lot of people and businesses will be getting asked for sponsorship.

I will be fundraising alone, with my family and also a group of my friends.As I need to raise my costs to go I think it’s only right that some of my fundraising is out of my comfort zone! Open for suggestions...😬😉

Although it’s 19 months away I’m sure the time will fly by!

I am really looking forward to this adventure and I’m sure it will be very rewarding, not only for myself but hopefully for the community and children we will be visiting.
