Story
As most of you know I am training to become a primary school teacher at Leeds Trinity University. I have been extremely lucky to have been given the opportunity to visit Kwazulu Natal in South Africa for two weeks, whilst taking part in the Bambisanani Project. Here I will be volunteering in two different schools, bringing resources which they lack and .primarily leading teaching sessions to class sizes varying from 26-80 pupils. This will be across all subjects including maths, English and sports education.
It has always been a passion of mine to make a difference to the lives of underprivileged children, and this opportunity allows me to do this whilst developing my teaching skills and putting myself out of my comfort zone.
To enable me to do this I need to raise £2200 and any donations would be gratefully received. I am also planning to hold fundraising events and the sponsorships/proceeds will be added to this fund.
I really appreciate you all taking the time to read this...every penny counts towards changing the lives of young children who will never experience the education that we take for granted everyday. Thank you in advance for any donations.
