Story
Anita's story:
My mum Anita was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2016 after three strokes.
Epilepsy is such a cruel illness and dealing with it everyday is such a challenge not only for the person who suffers with it but for the whole family too. Epilepsy takes the quality of life and normal day to day life is restricted. Often people think that epileptic fits are causes by 'flashing lights ' but this isn't nessasarly true. Certain foods, smells, not enough sleep and stress play a huge part in it to. The 26th of March is 'purple day' it's a day to raise awareness for epilepsy and I'll be going around to different businesses selling cakes to raise money for it. The NHS doesn't provide the care epileptic patients need after they've been hospitalised and often feel neglected. Please get behind me even if you can only donate a £1 I'll be eternally grateful.
Thank you
