Lene has been diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND). This is a name given to a group of diseases in which the nerve cells-neurons controlling the muscles that enavle us to move, speak, breath and swallow undergo degeneration and die.

She has been given 9-12 months to live. Her one wish is to make it till next year to see her daughter Lexi aged 5 enjoy a once in a life time holiday to Disney Land Paris.

We ask for your help to raise spending money for this holiday. As this disease is slowly taking everything from Lene it is impossible for her to work to support this dream. A group of family and friends from Ompton Livery Yard are going to conduct a 10 mile horse ride round the local area on 10 Dec 2017
. This has been supported by Jake Fowles at Wellow Equestrian centre who has kindly let us use the farm ride free of charge.

We don't ask for much and we appreciate everything. We can't beat this nasty disease, so we will do our best to make Lee's and Lexis time with us the best that we can possibly make it whilst making others aware of this evil disease.
