    Story

A little over a year a go my wife Kirsty, who is 30 years old,was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder and Non Epilectic Attack Disorder. This has changed her life dramatically and along side symptoms such as a walking gait, tremors, fatigue, pain, twitches and daily seizures she is unable to work and also unable to drive due to her licence being revoked because of the seizures.
Before this she was working full time and enjoyed running, cycling and playing football for her local team Ilminster Town Ladies.
We're raising money to buy Kirsty a mobility aid that will help to getting her some more independence back as she is unable to walk very far so is housebound when I'm at work.
The mobility aid we've seen is a Quickie Life folding wheelchair with a rio firefly attachment that would open up so many doors for Kirsty and for both of us.
It's foldable so we can take it camping and to festivals as well as enabling her to nip to boots to pick up her prescription or nip out for some milk without having to rely on myself or family/friends all the time.
We have done some fundraising to help towards this already but now we are looking for the last bit in order to get this custom made wheelchair and attachment ready for Kirsty and give some small amount of normality and independence back.
