Hello my name is Hannah and I am volunteering for a mission trip to India supporting the Asha project in October 2018. I am currently in year 11 at The Gryphon School studying for my GCSEs. I will be working as part of a team of volunteers from The Gryphon School, Leweston School and Sherborne Girls School. I have a heart for helping people in need, especially people i am not geographically close to. The aim of going on this trip is to give the people an opportunity for a better life; I will be participating in teaching English, demonstrating basic computer skills, painting and resourcing a community centre, participating in musical entertainment and learning about the culture in India. I want to be able to have an impact on the world and I really believe that my contribution towards the team will help improve people's lives in India.
