I have been lucky enough to be chosen to go to Hanover Park, Cape Town, South Africa in February of 2018 to rekindle with our link school Mountview High. Hanover Park is a gang ruled town and we are going over to help and learn from our friends and teachers over there about their school life. This trip will give us an insight to how hard life can be for a child and even the struggle of going to school.

In order to raise money for my travelling fees I am doing a sponsored cycle round Millport twice which is a total of 20.4 miles on Monday the 16th of October.

This trip will allow me and my peers to experience life through the eyes of other teenagers our age who aren't as privileged as us and don't take their everyday life for granted.

I'm extremely grateful for any kind of donation that anybody is able to give, as every little bit of money is helping towards the goal of raising £1400 that is needed to be raised to send me to Africa and is very appreciated by not only me but my family as this will allow me to have an experience of a lifetime and teach me lessons that I will be able to pass on to others in the future.
