My name is Hannah and I'm 14. I will be taking part in an expedition to south India in July 2019. I have been chosen out of around 100-150 students for this amazing experience. I have worked very hard to for this, from applications to interviews. I never thought I would be given this chance but here I am now, writing this. I am aware you may not want to read all this, but please, if you can just spare a minute to share or donate I will appreciate that very much.

While I am in India, I will be working with young, under privileged children which will possibly be the highlight of their year or even life. I will be; leading fun activities to lighten up their spirits during the day, teaching English in the evening and helping to improve their educational environment to ensure they get the best education possible. I feel this is a very important project to participate in as every child should feel empowered in their own life and their self-esteem should be as high the average child across the world. And I won't forget the trips we will be taking the children on that they may never see, an example of this will be the zoo or the beach. I will also be learning to manage my own budget, which will be helpful for my future adulthood in life. Whilst I am talking about my future, I think it is relevant to include how this experience will help me achieve my job. when I am older I would like to work abroad in hotels with the animation crew, guaranteeing everyone has the best time. This expedition will give me an advantage towards my dream job. The expedition doesn't stop here, we will be explore the unique sights of India, trekking the highs and lows, up mountains or through jungles.

I understand this will not be an easy hurdle but i will work as hard as possible to achieve this total of money as I have already come this far.
