We believe it is unfair that there are children in the world where 'Santa does not visit', especially after seeing our very own English style Christmas of more presents than children can possibly play with. We are joining forces with an existing project called 'Crianca Feliz' (Happy Child) in Cajuru, Brazil to take Santa Claus to these children with a small present each being delivered 'by Santa' himself! :-) We will be taking our daughter, Maria Isabel, along to deliver the presents too to appreciate how lucky she is to not be in that situation.

We have also seen with our own eyes families where the parents work all month collecting waste to recycle for money, in the boiling hot sun all day, for less than £100 for the whole family for the month! We will select a small number of families such as these and will buy them their 'Christmas shop' giving them a happy christmas meal and food for the month.

Any money we would have spent on presents here in England we are personally donating to this too, as well as our time.

Please give to this cause! We will set up a project site where you can see photos of the children at Christmas, to see what your donations have done.

* For just £3-5 a decent present can be purchased for a child, so £10 would be 2 or maybe 3 children.

* £40-50 would buy the 'christmas shop' for a family.

This project will grow into other areas to help the children throughout the year, but for now it is about having a HAPPY CHRISTMAS.

Please get into the Christmas spirit of giving and give to this worthy project.
