Happy Days is a club for children and their families living with autism, adhd or deafness aged 5-10 years old, it was set up six years ago due to my Finn he is my son and has aspergers and struggles to have friends and fit in socially, it was at a time where we were struggling most as a family. By creating Happy Days it gave us a network of other families living with the same hidden disability and the realisation that we were not the only family. As Finn grew older I then created HD Gamers Den for 11-18 year olds. Both clubs are still going and have around 25-30 families access it around West Berkshire. I run it voluntary so have to fundraise to keep it going. It costs approximatly £2000 a year to keep it funded and the costs down for the families that access it. So I thought I would try reaching out for support from the local community to help if they can. Any help would be amazing If we could raise the £2000 this would give me the knowledge and comfort that Happy Days can continue for another year and help many more families living with autism, adhd or deafness.

Finn my hero: you wouldn’t notice his autism. Society is letting Finn down. Hes potential to achieve amazing things but without the support he will go unnoticed. A fragile boy, anxiety, meltdowns & struggling to be in society. But all you see is a boy with determination & grit.
