A woman’s safety is her birthright. Having born in a patriarchal society, i had to fight for my own rights. In my 35 years of touring this world, i have witnessed extreme cases where girls are silenced and in deep agony. Being raped and molested by own family members is nerve-wrecking and devastating. They are always in fear and restricted in actions. I think its time that we all raised our voices and engaged efforts in making this world a safer place for our girls and women across the globe.
