On Sunday 2nd July, I am running a 10k and I am seeking YOUR support to help raise money for my friend's son, John Stafford. John is 28 and has been suffering with Crohn's disease since he was 15. Unfortunately, John's health started to deteriorate in Sept 2015 and in Nov 2015, he was diagnosed with rectal cancer.

Since then, John has undergone numerous surgeries and treatment with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In April 2017, John was diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer.

I haven't met John but I do know Angela and I have seen the emotional trauma which she has endured over the last couple of years and yet, despite all of this personal hardship which she is going through, she is always so positive and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone and everyone.

So I would like to give a little back and help raise some money for John, who is getting married later this year, to fund private revolutionary treatment which isn't available on the NHS.

I am seeking support from my family and friends and would be very grateful if you could also lend your support to Angela and John in his fight for a better and hopefully healthier future.
