Part 4: When I'm coping with the distance again Giles and i will do the marathon distance in the forest where we run best, not at an organised event. That way I won't attempt the distance unless I am 100% fit. I hope to be able to do it by Christmas but I'll just have to see. I'm going to keep this just giving page open as motivation. I'm so grateful for everyone's support, it means so much to me.xx

Part 3: I am so gutted and disappointed, I really thought I could do it. I know I was pushing my luck going in with two injuries but I really wanted to try. I'm pleased that we managed 13miles but it wasn't the distance I was aiming at. I know these things happen but it's really upsetting. I am so grateful to everyone for sponsoring us and really wish I could have done the distance. I'm still determined to do the marathon distance so I have a plan. I'm going to let my various injuries heal and then ease my self back into running.

Part 2: Giles was amazing and kept trying to encourage me to run and I did try. But the mud was pretty deep and I was sliding all over the place. Trying to compensate for my hip was throwing out everything else out and by the third checkpoint I was crying with every step, even at a walk. After 13 miles I couldn't go any further and had to pull out.
