As many of you know I am coming to the end of my Midwifery degree. I want to finish off the three years with doing my elective placement in Kathmandu, Nepal. This placement will be a once in a lifetime opportunity and will benefit not only the local community as the hospital receive funding from allowing us to undertake a placement in thier hospital but also give me real insight into midwifery in other cultures. I am also planning to take out baby clothes and sanitary products for the women who do not have many belongings.
