Amor Ministries began in 1980 and has since been providing adequate housing for poor families so that they can remain together under one roof. Prior to the creation of Amor Ministries, parents would be forced to send their children away to orphanages due to the inability to provide for them.

Shelter is a basic need and a lack of it creates stress. Having adequate shelter for a family means reduced stress of separation and therefore increases the quality of life for whole families. Furthermore, a cement floor and protection from the elements significantly increases the standard of health.

The work Amor is involved with is vital for keeping less fortunate families together and for me, this is a great way to be able to help to make a positive impact on the community.
